In Uttar Pradesh, from June 1, the way for 18 plus people to be vaccinated against corona without pre-registration and at work place will be opened. However, in this way vaccination will be done only in certain sections in the first phase. For this, instructions have been issued from the government level. After this, the Health Department has started preparations. The new rule currently includes government employees, bank workers, lawyers, judges, other officials and employees of Judiciary, media workers and parents whose children are under 12 years of age. 1200 people will be vaccinated in these categories every day in the district. Out of which 600 will be done on-spot registration.
In the new instructions issued from the government level regarding vaccination, it has been said that the health department will conduct vaccination by setting up a camp at the workplace. The department is currently planning for this. Nodal Officer of Vaccination, Dr. G.P. Mathuria said that the intention of the government is to start vaccination for people in the age group of 18 to 44 years by introducing onspot registration facility. For this, some sections are currently marked. Along with this, instructions for vaccination have been given by setting up camp at work place.
These camps will be set up in government offices only. In these, government employees will be vaccinated. Employees who fall in the age group of 18 to 44 and had not been vaccinated. 50 such people will get the facility of onspot registration. Apart from this, 50 people in the age group of 45 to 60 years will also get on-spot registration facility in the camp. There will be two camps per day in government offices in the district. Apart from this, one camp will be set up for media personnel and one for Judiciary.
Separate arrangements will be made for parents
In view of the possibility of children being affected in the third wave, the government has also directed to vaccinate the parents of children aged 12 years or less. Arrangements will be made for the vaccination of such parents in two vaccination centers of the district. Parents desirous of vaccination will be required to carry the child and their Aadhaar card. If the Aadhaar card of someone’s child is not produced, then his birth certificate can also be presented. Dr. Mathuria told that according to the mandates, it should be arranged in any two centers out of the ongoing vaccination centers in the district. At present, it is being seen that in which two centers in the district there is so much space.
There will be no shortage of vaccine
District officials from the government and divisional level have been assured that there will be no shortage of vaccine. About 9 thousand people were being vaccinated daily in the district. Which was increased to about 12 thousand. Now the department is going to increase it from 15 to 17 thousand. CMO Dr NK Gupta said that the officials of the government and divisional level have assured that there will be no shortage of vaccine in the district. Under which, if one day’s dose is remaining, the vaccine will be sent to the district for the next 6 days. On this assurance of the government and the Mandal, the pace of vaccination in the district is being increased.
Try after registration, slots are being increased daily at 47 centers
If you are not getting the slot after registering online then do not try. After registration, they kept checking the slot every morning and evening. The slots are increased daily in some of the more than 47 centres. Health Department opens slot booking on every Sunday from Monday to Saturday. However, in just 10 to 15 minutes, the slots of all the 6-day centers are booked. After this, registration for vaccination is done on the app, but the slot is not available. Nodal Officer of Vaccination, Dr. G.P. Mathuria said that the department increases the number of slots at certain centers in the district every day.
Many times the number of slots booked is not as many people come for vaccination or many times more people come. In such a situation, those who are registered and the slot is not available and the vaccine is left, then they are vaccinated. Apart from this, slots are also increased at some centers according to the availability of the vaccine and the capacity of the centres. It can be known only after 5 o’clock in the evening. Doctor Mathuria said that those who do not get slots need not be disappointed. They must open the app once in the late evening and check the availability of the slot.
Vaccination of 5.15 lakh people has been done in the district
Dr. Mathuria said that since January, about 5.15 lakh people have been vaccinated in the district. Of these, about 60 thousand are health workers and front line workers and the rest are district dwellers. From Thursday, vaccinations of 15 thousand people have been started in the district and in the next few days this number can be increased to 17 thousand.
