The Delhi Police has arrested three people repacking them after washing surgical gloves. A total of 848 kg surgical gloves have been seized from these three. The police raided on the basis of a tip-off.

Dwarka DCP Santosh Kumar Meena said that on May 25, constables Jagbir and Muniraj, doing picket duty at Chanakya Place in Dabri, received information that the used gloves on the second floor in the Mangia building were being washed and re-packed. After information, both these constables reached that address and took photographs of that place and caught one of the accused. After this, the other two accused were also caught by the police. After this, the information was given to the duty officer of Dabri police station. After which the Investigating Officer recorded the statement of Constable Jagbir and lodged an FIR. During investigation, 848 kg gloves were recovered at the said place.

The three accused have been identified as Manish Kumar, Arun Srinivasan and Dinesh Kumar. However, the three have also got bail. According to the police, Manish (30), Amanpuri Nangloi, Arun (37) Kerala and Dinesh Kumar (28) are residents of Indrapuri. According to the police, these people used to supply these surgical gloves from the markets, which were then resold. All three have been booked under the Pandemic Act.
