Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said on Thursday that restrictions such as lockdown due to corona virus in the state will be extended even after June 1. Relief will be given in a phased manner later. According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), Thackeray gave necessary instructions to the administration in this regard during the cabinet meeting. Restrictions are currently in place until June 1 to prevent the spread of the corona virus.
The statement quoted Thackeray as saying that despite the low rate of infection in the state, precaution is needed at this time. Thackeray said, ‘The infection rate in 10-15 districts is still very high. Also, there is a risk of black fungus (which is being found in patients recovering or recovering from corona virus). The Chief Minister said, ‘Today the number of daily cases has come down and the number recorded in September last year has reached. We still need to be cautious. ‘
Restrictions in force since April
