Karnataka SSLC Result 2020: Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) is likely to announce the Karnataka SSLC Results 2020 this week. After the Karnataka SSLC Results are announced, students can check their scores by visiting the official website at kseeb.kar.nic.in or karresults.nic.in.

Students will have to key in their roll number and login credentials on the login page to check their scores.

State education minister S Suresh Kumar earlier told the reporters that they are planning to declare the 2nd PUC results by the end of the July and SSLC results in the first week of August.

Although the 2nd PUC result was announced on July 14, now all eyes are on the SSLC exam results. Students can now expect their class 10th result anytime this week. However, yet the board has not released the exact date and time for the declaration of the results, as of now.

Originally, the Karnataka SSLC exam was slated to be held from March 27 to April 9, 2020 which were delayed in view of the Coronavirus induced lockdown. KSEEB later held the exam from June 25 to July 4.

Around 8.48 lakh students registered for the class 10th examination.

The schools had ensured that social distancing guidelines were followed and other precautionary measures taken at the exam centres. Also, all the students appeared for the exam, underwent thermal screening at the centres and were provided hand sanitisers and masks. In every classroom, 20 students had written their papers.

New Delhi: Lucknow University will be holding the joint entrance exam for B.Ed. courses (UP B.Ed. JEE) on August 9, 2020. A total of 4,31,904 candidates will take the exam this year.

Lucknow University conducts UP B.Ed. Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for admission to B.Ed. programme offered by 16 universities across the state.

“For the smooth conduct, 19 nodal centres have been made in 73 districts of the state,” Professor Amita Bajpai, State Exam Coordinator said.

She further said, this time, the no private college or school has been made test centre.

UP B.Ed. JEE will be objective in nature. The exam will consist of two papers.

Paper one will have two sections – General Knowledge and Hindi language. Both sections will include 50 questions each. The second paper will also have two sections – General Aptitude Test, and Subject Aptitude (Arts/Science/Commerce/Agriculture). This paper will also have 50 questions each in both parts.

Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be eligible to appear for the online counselling process for allotment of seat. Initially, the exam was scheduled in the month of April however, was delayed in light of the COVID-19 crisis.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, candidates were also allowed to change their exam centres.

NEET Super Specialty 2020: On Sunday, August 2, 2020, the National Board of Examination (NBE) has released the schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for students to take admission to the Super Specialty course. The schedule is now available on the official website.

The online registration for the entrance exam has been started today, on August 3, 2020, at 3 PM, and will conclude on August 23, 2020, at 11:55 PM.

According to the schedule, NEET-SS 2020 computer-based exam will be held on September 15, 2020, at various centres across the country.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the entrance examination online by visiting the official website at natboard.edu.in.

“NEET-SS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination for admission to various DM/MCh courses as per the Indian Medical Council (Amendment) Act, 2016. National Board of Examinations also utilizes the merit generated through NEET SS for admissions to its DNB Superspecialty courses,” reads the official notice.

The NEET-SS examination result is slated to be announced by September 25, 2020.

New Delhi: The higher education department is expected to begin the application process for Common PG Entrance Test within a week. The department will be holding this entrance test for the first time across the state.

The process will be conducted to grant admission to PG courses in state public universities and autonomous colleges.

“Advertisement inviting applications from students for Common PG Entrance Test is expected to be published within a week. The application process is already delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic situation,” said Asoka Kumar Das, vice chairman of Odisha State Higher Education Council.

In the month of April, higher education minister Arun Kumar Sahoo conferred with vice-chancellors of the state public universities relation to conduct the test. Another meeting was held recently to finalize the process before publication of advertisement inviting applications for the entrance test.

As per the sources, final semester/year undergraduate (UG) students can register for the test.

Result of final semester exam will not be needed to apply or sit for the entrance test. The result of final year examination is must while preparing merit list or rank for admission into the PG courses.

“The department is planning to give a seven-day window period to students before the publication of merit list for filling up of results of final semester/year examinations. Merit list will be prepared by taking 30 points of career marking and 70 points of the entrance test marks,” said a higher education department officer.

Although the date of the entrance test is yet to be decided, the department is planning to do it post reviewing the Covid-19 situation across the state.

Only after the Supreme Court hearing pleas against the University Grants Commission (UGC)decision on conducting the final year university examinations by September 30, the entrance test further process depends. The hearing of the case has been adjourned till August 10.

NEET PG/MDS 2020 notification released: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced re-opening of fresh registrations for Deemed Universities and released the official notification regarding the same. The last date has also been extended by the authorities for reporting to allotted colleges after the stray vacancy round till August 14, 2020.

In a notice released, it is mentioned that ‘ No Choice Filling or Fresh Allotment will be carried out for the extended period of counselling by MCC’.

WBJEE Result 2020: It has been around six months of the state Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE 2020) conducted, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) is finally set to declare the result on Friday next week, August 7.

The result declaration date has been confirmed by the chairman Malayendu Saha, he said that the result timing and the counselling schedule will be announced next week. The result will be declared through a press conference from the board office, after which it will be available at the official website- wbjeeb.nic.in.

“The board has completed the evaluation process in April, but the delay is due to the Higher Secondary exam. The Uccha Madhyamik result was declared on July 17,” the official said.

Taking serious note of the coronavirus pandemic situation, the entire counselling process will be held online, the official said.

Earlier, the board had also announced the list of provisional institutes for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering/Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture for the new academic session. The list of government, private institutes are uploaded at the website- wbjeeb.nic.in.

The counselling procedure may be held in September, with the classes may resume in October, before Durga Puja. The decision related to the commencement of the classes would be made by the state government. The counselling process can be commenced in September, the detail will be announced on August 7, following the result declaration.

Nearly, 1.1 lakh candidates have taken the engineering entrance examination that was held on February 2, before the HS examinations.

This year, the overall pass percentage recorded for Uccha Madhyamik exam was 90.13 per cent, highest pass percentage. The Science stream has scored the best pass percentage with 98.83 per cent followed by Commerce- 92.22 per cent. The pass percentage in Arts stream touched at 88.74 per cent.

The Delhi Police has invited online applications against 5846 vacancies for the post of constable (executive) male and female. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct the recruitment exam in computer based test (CBT) mode followed by a physical efficiency and physical measurement test. The interest candidates can apply online at ssc.nic.in.

The online application window will be active between August 1 and September 7.The last date of online payment of application fee is September 9 while the last date to generate offline Bank Challan is September 11. The deadline for payment of application fee through offline challan is September 14.

The computer based test will be held between November 27 and December 14.

Admission Certificates for PE&MT will be issued by Delhi Police on their website (i.e. www.delhipolice.nic.in). PE&MT will be conducted in Delhi only.

General Knowledge/ Current Affairs: Question in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. CIPET JEE 2020 admit card released: The Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology, or CIPET, has released the CIPET JEE admit cards on the official website.
